Jurong East Avenue 1 EC site confirmed for December 2026 tender
MND has put the Jurong East Avenue 1 EC site on the 2H2026 Confirmed List: 1.49 ha, about 735 homes, tender by HDB in December 2026.
- The only EC site on the 2H2026 Confirmed List.
- 1.49 ha, plot ratio 5.0, about 735 homes, 99-year lease.
- HDB is the sales agent. Launch for tender expected December 2026.
- The site must include a childcare centre of at least 750 sqm.
On 3 June 2026, MND announced the Government Land Sales programme for the second half of 2026. The Jurong East Avenue 1 site, the old Shuqun Secondary School, is on the Confirmed List as the only EC site.

Being on the Confirmed List means the Government will launch it on schedule, whether or not a developer asks for it. It will be the first new EC in Jurong East since Westmere in the 1990s.
What happens next
- December 2026: HDB launches the tender. The closing date is usually a few months later.
- 2027: The tender closes and HDB names the top bidder and the land price.
- Around 2028: The developer launches the project, opens the showflat and takes e-applications.
- Around 2031: Completion. The 10-year MOP starts from here.
